I have spent the past 12 years working as a healthcare professional in three different countries - USA, Canada and India. While I enjoyed the process of aiding people's recovery and ensuring their safe return home, I found healthcare software to be a constant source of friction. Whether it involved pulling up a patient's chart, accessing information from different hospital systems, or adding notes at the end of the day, healthcare software often hindered rather than helped efficiency. Eventually, I realized that a part of the problem was lack of input from healthcare professionals in the creation of this software. This insight drove me to transition into a product management role in the healthtech sector.
